I am a jazz guitarist trying to get onto the music circuit. I'm also a songwriter and vocalist. I have to date written 14 songs in the jazz genre and hoping to complete about 120 to put together a CD.

I'm 38 years old and started playing guitar and music seriously about two years ago.I have always been attracted to music since birth I think but there was nobody in the family who played music except my Dads Johny Mathis and Nat King Cole LP's whose songs are memorized before I could play a note. 

Artists who have inspired me are George Benson, Earl Klugh, Herbie Hancock, John Coltrane , Elton John, and Notorious B.I.G or Biggie and Eric Clapton and Peter White.
In the Eastern Cape , Gerard Obrien, Theo Thomas, Errol Cudumbie, Denzil Africa, Esther Miller and Hugh Masakela even a little bit of Johnny Kleg and Savuka.

Im currently self studying Wes Montogomery , Charlie Christian guitar styles and the accoustic of Earl Klugh focusing on the bepop jazz and accoustic sounds.
